I am a wife, mom, and wedding planner who loves a great glass of wine, trying out a new restaurant, and has a small obsession for Glassybabys. OH! and anything with pineapple print on it.
When I have a free weekend you will find me:
On one of my free weekends you will always find me with family and friends. Saturdays are normally for adventures. Sundays for church and weekly family dinners.
Most memorable Wedding story:
Last August I had a couple who wanted to surprise their guests with a Lion Dance! Hiding the performers was difficult, but seeing the guest’s faces when the performance started out of nowhere was priceless!
Favorite Moment on the Wedding Day:
I will never get tired of watching the couple walk back down the aisle hand in hand. They are all smiles and blissfully happy as they realize they are now married! I love to watch them steal a kiss right before their wedding party wants to engulf them in hugs of congratulations.
One suggestion on how to make planning memorable:
When planning, make sure you get out of the house! Plan while at a new breakfast spot or over a drink at your favorite happy hour. My favorite advice? Document all of the places you go and make sure to revisit them after you are married.
Best moment you have ever had working as a wedding planner:
One of my couples gave me the sweetest and most personal Thank You ever. The best part of their Thank You wasn’t their kind words or their tip…it was the children’s book for my son. I loved making their day special, but I don’t think they know how special they made mine!
Dream Location or element you are dying for a couple to ask you to plan:
I would love to plan a secluded elopement, maybe on a mountaintop or in the countryside. Actually, let’s be honest, if this secluded elopement happened to be in France, that would be the best!
One Piece of Advice for Every couple you meet:
Prioritize and don’t stress! When you start to stress, take a break. You are planning your wedding and you never want to look back and have stressful memories.
