I am a homebody, social introvert, I love to meet new people, but I also love to stay home make a great meal and have a great glass of wine. I love helping others and I am always taking on new projects, whether it is a new networking organization, conference or speaking I just love getting out and hearing other peoples stories and helping start and grow their business. My husband and I love our trips to Maui and to the Washington coast, we also love car trips around the great Northwest! I am organized, detailed oriented and love helping my clients. And some people say that I am working on too many projects and don’t know when I sleep.
When I have a free weekend you will find me:
Catching up on my magazine reading and relaxing around the house.
Most memorable wedding story:
My own wedding! I got married at Safeco Field and they displayed a congratulatory message on the out of town scoreboard. Unfortunately, they put down my maiden name as my married name. My mother was mortified, neither my husband or I saw it, but the photographer snagged a great photo.
Favorite Moment on the Wedding Day:
The moment everything is set and you are just waiting for guests to arrive for the ceremony. You can see all the hard work that came together and how excited the couple and their loved ones are to get the festivities started.
One suggestion on how to make planning Memorable and Fun:
Take a break from planning at least once a month and spend the weekend creating memories that aren’t wedding related.
Best moment you have ever had working as a wedding planner:
There are so many! If I have to choose one, it is the moment the couple or their parents look at the finished set up and you can see in their eyes that their vision has come to life.
Dream Location or element you are dying for a couple to ask you to plan:
My dream location is Maui, and I am lucky that I already plan weddings there every year. You name the venue — Haiku Mills, Sugar Beach, Grand Wailea, Montage Kapalua, Andaz. I am your gal!
One Piece of Advice for Every couple you meet:
